I was the first 'Senior Prefect', first 'Sports Captain' and first 'Senior Champion at the first Interhouse Sports Meet held in 1941 at the Kaladdy grounds. I belonged to Chelliah House. I attended school at the old school building a stone and mortar building with a thatched roof.
